GameTech Successfully Defends Patent Case Appeal Against Planet Bingo

RENO, Nev., October 2, 2007, GameTech International, Inc. (“GameTech” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: GMTC), a leading designer, developer and marketer of electronic bingo equipment, bingo systems and video lottery terminals, today announced that the United States Supreme court had rejected Planet Bingo’s request to review the ruling of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal’s concerning the patent lawsuit Planet Bingo had filed against GameTech.  As a result, the ruling of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal in favor of GameTech will stand. The case has been ongoing since late 2003.
